Job Description

An established manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair production equipment across two local facilities. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and industrial electrical issues, and complete timely equipment repairs. You will also assist with basic building and facility maintenance while helping minimize production downtime. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery, motors, pneumatic equipment, and related systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and industrial electrical issues using manuals, diagrams, testing instruments, and other technical resources
• Inspect, adjust, repair, replace, dismantle, and reassemble machine parts and control components
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance and repair records while monitoring maintenance parts and supply inventory
• Complete basic building and facility maintenance while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, HVAC, or a similar field
• Experience with mechanical systems, industrial electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and basic HVAC or building systems
• Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, specifications and safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
• Valid driver's license with ability to pass a motor vehicle record check; ability to travel regularly between Gastonia and Bessemer City and work overtime when required
• Ability to frequently stand and walk; bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions; lift and move up to 50 pounds; and safely work from ladders or approved lifts

The base pay range for this position is $22.00–$25.00 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
